About

How it all started

It all began with a Sunday beer.

When it came to naming this project, ‘The Sunday Beer Club’ almost named itself. I was in a routine of playing darts at the pub with my Dad and brother every Sunday and quickly friends started to join. Enter ‘The Sunday Beer Club’.

Once I began playing around with the branding, the current logo was my second iteration, I instantly fell in love and decided it could be a stand alone brand. As an adult I’ve slowly grown to appreciate the streetwear scene and have always been fascinated by Palace and their brilliant but bizzare collaborations. That is the inspiration for The Sunday Beer Club and the direction I intend on taking the community brand. Epic collaborations with local breweries as well as the lager giants. Palace Artois (Palace x Stella Artois) and the early Nelk Boys collab with Corona being two brand collaborations I feel perfectly line up with our aspirations.

In a society that is slowly losing its social outlets, we want The Sunday Beer Club to be more than just a clothing brand, we invision building a community that brings people back into the real world, celebrating the act of going for a beer and not just the beer itself. We are unique in our approach of rating scenes, service and story to appraise beer entries sent in as we properly capture our members experience. Going for a beer isn’t just about the taste of the beer or the price of the pint, it was never about the beer. Its the good times, great conversations and new experiences that come with it! Our 3 metrics cover all bases to eventually give us the perfect pint.

Our approach

There are two parts to this story. The first being our Sunday Beer Club. This is where our members will get the opportunity to rate each other’s entries based on ‘Scenes’, ‘Service’ and ‘setting’. The elite few will find themselves inducted to the Hall of Fame amongst other tasty rewards.

The second part involves brand and beer apparel. We aim to bring beer merchandise from all over the world into one hub. Our goal is to be a catalyst for collaborations from our very own The Sunday Beer Club merchandise to lager giants or local craft beer companies. We aim to host events that coincide with each merch drop.

We believe in bringing people together back into the real world, one beer at a time.
